What's New?
To be honest, I've been in one hell of a writing slump. I have books, numerous books in fact, that I haven't bothered to finish, haven't been able to do much more than read through. So, I moved off in another direction hoping for some inspiration to get me back into the writing mode.
I've been taking online courses on children's writing, blogging, social media & advertising. So far I've learned quite a bit, but more so, I've learned a lot about myself and who I am and who I want to be. I've discovered that I do have the heart of a writer, I have stories to tell, characters screaming to me at all hours and I've been ignoring them all. Well, not anymore.
One thing I did, in particular, that has inspired me most was changing my logo. Bringing it up to date, giving it a fresh new life has given me much-needed incentive. Special thanks to my cover designer Karrie Jax.
In the works is a children's book. I am collaborating with my son Ethan on this one and he will be illustrating it. In fact, the story is about a character that he created back in high school. It's an adorable little being and it hangs in a frame on my wall, has for years. He gives me great inspiration.
Along with the children's book, I am working on finishing up 'Tongue & Groove' as well as 'Manny' and hoping to publish them all by fall 2020.
And that's just a little of what's going on in my world. Thanks for hanging in there and not giving up on me. I'd love to hear from you, drop me a line or leave a brief message here.
Love you!
Jenn

Here we are another year older and deeper in debt hahaha!
Well, resolutions come and go and I'm resolving again not to make one...I will though promise to get a few books out this year. Watch for 'Tongue and Groove (a renovation romance), as well as 'Manny' & 'Naughty Girl'. All are standalone novels with a promised HEA.
BTW: mention seeing this on my blog and receive a special gift at my table.

REUNION THE COMPLETE SERIES
mybook.to/ReunionComplete
After two years, it’s time to bring back the men who started a whole De’ath of You series.
Now Ryan and Nico are here again, all in one book with added chapters and over 450 pages.
When Nico Angeles finally plucks up the courage to face his past, to face the man he walked away from ten years ago, he expects Ryan to be angry and to refuse to listen to his explanation and his apology. What he doesn’t expect is his love.
Ryan Connelly has tried to move on and forget the love of his life. He joined the army, expecting the drama of war to ease the pain in his heart. But nothing changes the way he feels. When he sees Nico’s name on the high school reunion list, Ryan knows he will get his chance to reconnect with him.
Just when everything looks like it’s going their way, a blast from Nico’s past threatens to break them apart again.
With the danger removed, Ryan and Nico return to Nico’s home, ready to find their happily ever after. They quickly slot into their new life, happy and in love, never expecting a visit from Ryan’s former commanding officer could ruin their newfound bliss. Is Ryan strong enough to survive? Bolstered by the depth of Nico’s love, he accepts his last mission, wondering if they will ever get the happiness they deserve.
The original story of Ryan and Nico was told in three novellas: Reunion, Reunited, and Elysium. This story contains the combined books with some wonderful bonus chapters at the end.

This is a gay romance with lots of hot man-on-man action. There is some violence and is recommended for readers 18 and over.

Westmore: Betrayal is the 5th book in the Westmore series. The writing is deft and well-handled and the plot hinges on the title word, ‘Betrayal’. Throughout the book there is evidence of perceived and actual betrayal’s which the various characters have to deal with. Carol has an excellent eye for drama in the most unlikely of places, allowing us to see into the heart of an extended family almost at war with itself.
At the novel’s core is the revelation that a death in the family was covered up by one of the siblings and that it was their father who had caused it. The repercussions of this extend far and wide and across the generations as well as family and friends end up revealing things and secrets about themselves and their relationships that should, perhaps, have stayed hidden.
This is a book the reader must pay attention to as there are so many threads it can be hard to remember who is who and which drama belongs to which people. The book is the culmination of several earlier story lines and readers may decide they need to visit earlier books to see how the situations characters find themselves in came about.

I really loved this book. I loved Rachel's story and the choices she has to make after leaving New York to see her family and reconnects with her ex Cole. Wow I think Carol Cassada was able to capture Rachel's emotions and take us on it with her. I thought this was a very heart warming story. I loved it . I could connect with all the characters of Rachel, Jeremy and Cole. So real and so much emotion. Well done!
